2019 – cm. 30 x 120, linen canvas, aluminum and stainless steel inserts, acrylic colour, Crystal resin, worked with a brush and with the hands.
The work is a tribute to the history of missile flight. The larger shape represents Saturn 5, the powerful vector that launched the Apollo missions towards our Moon.
But the small silhouette of the first rocket that flew beyond the stratosphere is also represented on the canvas: the V2 bomb.
Since August 2024 the work has been on permanent display in the SPACE pavilion in VOLANDIA (museum of flight), which is located next to Malpensa airport.
