The work is a tribute to the Hubble Space Telescope (HST): it is the only optical telescope orbiting the Earth.
Launched in 1990 with the shuttle Challenger, HST is still in service.
Since August 2024 the work has been on permanent display in the conference room of the SPACE pavilion in VOLANDIA (museum of flight), which is located next to Malpensa airport.
