The work is a tribute to the exploration of our MOON.
The Apollo missions ended in 1972. I put my signature right in the Sea of Tranquility, where the first crew landed.
The exploration of the Solar System began here and will have a base here in the future as well. This sculpture is not an exact reproduction, but a celebration of the scientific and technological achievements of all mankind.
Since 2019 July 20 the sculpture has been on permanent display in the SPACE pavilion in VOLANDIA (museum of flight), which is located next to Malpensa airport.
