2017 – cm. 60 x 60 x 60, sphere, hooks and screws in stainless steel, acrylic color, aluminium, acrylic and glossy resin Crystal, worked by brush and by hand.
The sculpture has a side opposite to side A, which is also the hidden side of our Moon, i.e. the surface that cannot be seen from the Earth.
The presence of a greater quantity of craters demonstrates how important the meteoric “shield” function performed by our large natural satellite is.
Many current exploration missions are directed here and the images from which I obtained the arrangement of the craters are all those sent by space probes.
Since 2019 July 20 the sculpture has been on permanent display in the SPACE pavilion in VOLANDIA (museum of flight), which is located next to Malpensa airport.
